Your home is your most valuable asset. Whether you are looking to transform your kitchen, update your bathrooms, create the perfect outdoor living space, or completely renovate your home after storm damage, R4 Roofing and Reconstruction delivers premium home remodeling services across Florida. We are a fully licensed and insured general contractor serving Naples, Fort Myers, Tampa, Apollo Beach, and West Palm Beach with over 75 years of combined construction experience.
Unlike general remodeling companies that only handle interior work, R4 Florida is uniquely positioned as both a licensed roofing contractor and a full-service remodeling company. That means we handle everything from the roof down — giving homeowners a single trusted contractor for every project, every time.
Why Choose R4 Florida for Your Home Remodel
Florida homeowners face unique remodeling challenges. Salt air corrosion, hurricane-resistant building requirements, high humidity, and strict local permitting make Florida remodeling more complex than in other states. R4 Florida understands these challenges because we have been working in this environment for years. Here is what sets us apart:
- Licensed General Contractor — We hold Florida contractor licenses #CCC1335711 and #CBC1267010, meaning we are fully qualified to pull permits and manage every aspect of your project.
- Single Point of Contact — One team handles everything. No coordinating between multiple contractors. R4 manages your entire project from start to finish.
- On Budget and On Time — Regular communication and detailed planning keep your project on schedule and within your agreed budget.
- Florida Building Code Expertise — Every remodel we complete meets current Florida Building Code requirements, including hurricane-resistant materials and installations where required.
- In-House Design Assistance — You do not need to hire a designer. R4 provides design consultation as part of our service. If you already have a designer, we work directly with them.
- We Handle All Permits — R4 pulls every required permit for your remodeling project, managing the entire permitting process so you do not have to.
- 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed — We stand behind every job we complete. Our track record of 5-star reviews across Naples, Fort Myers, Tampa, and West Palm Beach speaks for itself.

Florida-Specific Remodeling Considerations
Remodeling in Florida is different from remodeling in other states. Years of working in Southwest and Southeast Florida have given R4 Florida a deep understanding of what materials, designs, and building practices work best in our climate. Every project we complete takes the following Florida-specific factors into account:
- Hurricane Code Compliance — Florida has some of the strictest building codes in the country following Hurricanes Andrew, Ian, and Milton. R4 ensures every renovation meets or exceeds current Florida Building Code wind resistance requirements.
- High Humidity and Moisture Management — Florida’s year-round humidity demands moisture-resistant materials, proper ventilation, and professional waterproofing in bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor spaces.
- Salt Air Corrosion — Coastal Florida homeowners in Naples, Fort Myers Beach, and West Palm Beach need corrosion-resistant fixtures, fasteners, and materials that stand up to salt air exposure.
- Energy Efficiency — Florida’s heat drives high electricity bills. Our remodels incorporate energy-efficient windows, doors, insulation, and solar-ready designs to reduce your long-term costs.
- HOA and Local Code Requirements — Many Florida communities have HOA design guidelines and strict local permitting requirements. R4 navigates these on your behalf so your project stays compliant.

Frequently Asked Questions — Home Remodeling in Florida
How long does a home remodel take in Florida?
Project timelines vary by scope. A bathroom remodel typically takes two to four weeks. A full kitchen renovation takes four to eight weeks. Whole-home renovations generally range from six months to one year. R4 Florida provides a detailed timeline before work begins and updates you throughout the project.
Do I need to hire a designer before contacting R4 Florida?
No. R4 Florida provides design assistance as part of our service at no extra charge. If you already have a designer or architect, we work directly with them to execute your vision. If you have your own approved plans, we can build from those as well.
Who pulls the permits for my remodeling project?
R4 Florida handles all permitting for every project we undertake. As a licensed Florida general contractor, we manage the entire permitting process with your local municipality — you do not have to deal with the paperwork, inspections, or approvals.
Can R4 Florida handle both my roof and a remodel at the same time?
Yes — and this is one of our biggest advantages. As both a licensed roofing contractor and general contractor, R4 Florida can handle your entire project under one roof (pun intended). Combining a roof replacement with an interior renovation is often the most cost-effective approach, especially for post-storm reconstruction.
How do you help homeowners stay on budget?
R4 Florida provides detailed written estimates before any work begins. We build allowances into our agreements for potential upgrades or design changes, and we communicate proactively if anything changes during the project. Regular check-ins with your project manager ensure there are no surprises.
Do you offer financing for home renovations?
Yes. R4 Florida works with financing partners to offer flexible payment options for qualifying homeowners. Contact us to learn about current financing plans available for your remodeling project.
